Revolt Press was started by Michael Holm and Geurt Stall in 1969 in Åseda, Sweden. Fro 1971–1986, they published over 15 separate magazines. Stall also distributed pornographic films, jock straps, lubricant, et al. under the name Revolt Produkt.

Peter Appelqvist, Revolt”s editor, also performed most of the design work for Revolt’s titles.
