Background
Data Boy co-published two editions in the same volume, each with its own numbering scheme at first. For example, the Los Angeles edition for October 4, 1979, was issue #233, but the back of the issue covered San Francisco and the Pacific Northwest, and was numbered #168. By the following year, however, the issue numbering was abandoned, although the double-format was retained.
