Background

Subtitled "Studies in Masculine Art". Originally published by Joe and Ben Weider out of Canada, in editions for London and Jersey City. Apparently [research needed] sold, along with Adonis to the British publisher of Male Classics. Under the new publisher, the title kept the same tag line "Studies in Masculine Art", but production moved from Jersey City, NJ, to London and San Francisco.

Edited by Hal Warner (pseudonym of Wally McManus), who appears to have been responsible for the gay perspective.
